BP

bpBP has helped place hundreds of employee volunteers in some 220 schools across the country. They work closely with SGOSS in identifying the areas of the country most in need of governors and target employees in nearby BP sites to fill those vacancies.

Additionally, BP holds regular focus groups with School Governors’ One-Stop Shop to discuss best practice in recruiting employee governors and has teamed up with Local Authorities to participate in ‘hot topic’ training on educational issues.

BP also assists SGOSS with recruitment campaigns in the communities around each of its sites.  This ensures that BP is not only raising awareness of the need for new volunteers to its staff but also within the wider community.
