This form gives us at the One-Stop Shop all the information we need to be able to search for a suitable vacancy at a school in your area. The more information you can provide, particularly in the personal statement (top of page 2), the easier it will be for us to find the right school for you.

Your details will be entered onto our database and we will set about finding a suitable school for you. To do this we will either contact the Local Authority or a school directly.

Once a school has been found, you will be contacted by either the Local Authority or the school and they may ask for additional information. You should arrange to have an informal meeting with the head teacher, or the chair of governors at that school, before you formally accept the position.

The whole process is in your hands and you should only accept the position when you are 100% happy. If, after a meeting at the school, you are not 100% happy then let us know and we will endeavour to solve any problems or do our best to find you another school.
