"Northamptonshire County Council has benefitted enormously from our partnership with the School Governors’ One-Stop Shop. The committed and skilled volunteers they recruit have been able to make a significant contribution to the leadership of our schools. The free service they offer has helped the Council to support continued school improvement without committing additional resources for this activity."

(Cllr Andrew Grant, Cabinet Member for Children & Young People, Northamptonshire County Council, July 2010)
