- Umbrella organisation Volunteering England has published several summary reports on the nature and future of volunteering.
Research has shown that a motivating factor for governors is their own development. It has also shown that experience gained in governance impacts positively on career success. Jane Phillips, a long-serving governor and former Chair of the National Association of School Governors has written a book which might help governors in their careers, their schools and their leisure time. - They are available to read here.
