Looking for a new way to have a positive impact on students and schools? Become part of a growing Teach First community of school governors working to dramatically improve student attainment and aspiration. School Governors’ One-Stop Shop and Teach First are working together to encourage more Ambassadors to volunteer as school governors in an effort to ensure that all schools have well-equipped, effective, innovative governing bodies.

As an Ambassador, you are uniquely placed to offer valuable skills and insight to governing bodies due to your first-hand knowledge of the challenges schools face, your passion for improving educational opportunities for all pupils, and perhaps, your experience in another sector. School governors are the most important voluntary workers in education, but there can still be as many as 40,000 vacant places across England at any one time.
